Publication of wrong maps an offence
MUMBAI: The Press Council of India (PCI) has urged the press not to publish incorrectly-depicted maps of India, pointing out that it amounted to questioning the territorial integrity of the country. Besides, the act is punishable under the relevant sections of the Criminal Law (Amendment) Act 1962 as amended in 1990. The council’s appeal comes in the wake of growing instances of newspaper publication of maps of India depicting incorrect boundaries. — UNI

2.Khammam ( Exchanged with East Godavari)
3.Ongole ( There is no district with the name Ongole, Ongole is a town in Prakasam district, and this district depicted in place of Guntur district)
4. Guntur ( Pushed down in the place of Prakasam, Guntur and Prakasam (Ongloe) exchanged their places)
5. Krishna ( Moved to some imaginable place)
