What do you think? Bad luck or bad fate? But exactly no.

I searched Hindu paper for similar incidents too place at Naidupet Nellore district.

site:www.hindu.com floods at Nellore (http://www.google.co.in/search?q=+site:www.hindu.com+floods+at++nellore)

Search result shows more than 15 pages.

Floods in Nellore district is every year’s scenario, every year floods claim lives of many innocent people, who blame their fate. But what the government is doing to prevent deaths? why it is not taking care to add safety measures over small rivers and security measures to avoid damages by sudden floods.

The same place took lives of hundreds of people, but still now the “Chapta” is unprotected and vulnerable to floods. If the government or local officials took care to increase the height of that small bridge by 5 feet it can saved lives of 3 people. But why the government sleeping? And throwing money over the faces of family members as Exgratia (Act of grace). Government gave more than a crore rupees to victims in form of compensation, but if it could spend a few lakhs it had saved many lives, of course many families.

Can a lakh compensate live of a person?  Then why don’t government collect one lakh rupees from murderers to let them free.

Okay, the state is ruled by brainless people over decades, leave it, then what about “Intellectual Society”, civil servants are marked as intelligent people of India. In the year 2005 Swarnamukhi river took lives of many people, and the waters of same river caused flood yesterday. Atleast the district officials are not bothered about rescue operations also.

Look at the rescue boat, it was hired from State Forest department, which uses such boats to check smuggling ( at least they claim so). The revenue department is so lazy that it asked Hyderabad office for live boats and rescue jackets today. Even I know that Nellore may probably hit by heavy rains at least 2 days before, what the revenue department did those 2 days? The revenue department is supposed to carry on rescue operations but it slept all these days. They forgot even to equip themselves and get ready for rescue operations.

The rescue operation were entirely going over ropes instead of life jackets and Local made boats instead of Coast guard boats. No offical was present there when rescue operations were carried on.

Who are responsible for these murders claimed under natural calamities? If they think they can compensate lives and their laziness with 1 lakh exgratia, then I demand the governmemt to make a law for killers and murderers for such same facility -compensation to their acts for 1 lakh rupees.
